About Us
The Nomadic Nature Conservation a Mongolian non-profit organization was established in March 2010. The Nomadic Nature Trunk program launched in three eastern-most provinces Dornod, Khentii and Sukhbaatar in 2007, funded by WCS, with initiatives of Conservation Ink and Denver Zoo successfully. This program is aimed to bring much needed ecological education to the rural Mongolia’s schools and communities. The trunk contents full curriculum with 25 lessons that are designed on the participatory approaches, and also includes needed lesson materials and such. After the successful implementation of the program and to expand it to all schools and communities across Mongolia, we established this organization. In Addition to implementing the trunk program, Nomadic Nature Conservation also works in several different areas.

March 4-8th, 2011
NNC successfully conducted The Nomadic Nature Trunk Program Trainings among natural science teachers from all schools both in aimag and soum centers, pre-school teachers, community members and representatives from Onon Balj Protected Area Administration and Environmental Agency in Khentii aimag for 2 days during March 4-5th, and the same trainings were organized in Sukhbaatar aimag during March 7-8th, 2011, funded by Wildlife Conservation Society-WCS, World Wildlife Foundation-WWF and Mongolian Children’s Aide and Development Fund (MCADF) as well as Denver Zoo, and the USAID Daurian Steppe SCAPES.
